Aromatic and aliphatic trifunctional polyether urethane acrylates and methacrylates. These oligomers exhibit good hydrolytic stability. Applications range from specialty adhesives to coatings for wood, metal and glass. |
Difunctional polyether methacrylates. These oligomers demonstrate low toxicity, good hydrolytic stability, and excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates. They can be used in UV/EB or in free-radical thermal cure formulations. |
Aromatic and aliphatic mono- and difunctional polyether urethane acrylates. This is a workhorse family of oligomer products. Applications range from adhesives, including laminating and pressure sensitives, to high quality coatings for wood, metal and glass. |
Difunctional and trifunctional polyester urethane acrylates. The aliphatic oligomers cure rapidly to tough, non-yellowing films with good adhesion to a variety of substrates. The aromatic oligomers provide similar physical properties to that of the aliphatics, but are not recommended for applications where a non-yellowing film is critical. Coatings exhibit excellent oil and chemical resistance. |
Aliphatic linear polyether urethane (meth)acrylates. This is our most versatile series of oligomers, which includes patented oligomers. The cured oligomers demonstrate outstanding hydrolytic stability, low toxicity, excellent abrasion resistance and weatherability. They can be used for both exterior and interior coatings. |
Aliphatic polyester urethane acrylates. Designed to meet rigorous electronic applications, PBDUAs have many desirable properties typical of PBD resins, combined with radiation curability via UV/EB. Recommended for applications requiring low moisture pickup, thermal cycling resistance, and high dielectric constant. |
Aliphatic polyester urethane acrylates. This family of oligomers provides excellent cured film characteristics. Applications include adhesives and coatings where toughness as well as oil and chemical resistance is required. |
Multifunctional aliphatic urethane acrylates. These oligomers offer rapid cure and are ideal for coatings were premium performance is desired. Cured films range from stiff to flexible - all with excellent abrasion, stain and chemical resistance plus good hydrolytic stability. They are used in the most demanding medical and electronic applications. |
Multifunctional melamine (meth)acrylates. These oligomers have low color and low viscosity. They demonstrate extremely high rates of UV cure. BMA series oligomers can be used as additives, accelerating free radical cure, and general performance of radiation and thermal cure systems. They have very good weatherability. |
Only available from Bomar - Acrylamidomethyl substituted cellulose esters. These proprietary, high molecular weight, cellulosic materials are free flowing white powders. Jaylink® applications range widely, from simple use as a reactive thickener, to complex formulations as imaging plates for graphic arts and print media. They are frequently used as additives to improve coatings for wood and plastic. |
Light sensitive (LS®) urethane acrylates. Aliphatic and aromatic urethane acrylates with photoinitiator grafted into the oligomer backbone. These custom oligomers can incorporate a variety of different Type I photoinitiators (PIs). Formulations can be designed to produce coatings, adhesives, and inks that exhibit little or no PI fragments and benzaldehyde. These LS® oligomers are suitable for FDA applications. |
Dendritic polyester acrylates. Hyperbranched oligomers displaying low viscosity with excellent physical properties. The availability of hydroxyl groups on the backbone offers latitude in formulations applied to metal. These oligomers allow for compounding of 100% solids that are sprayable in thin film applications. High acrylate functionality yields coatings with high crosslink density while maintaining some flexibility.
Phenoxy urethane acrylates. Unique oligomer of very high molecular weight, which is flexible and very tough. Supplied as a 50-50 cut in THFA monomer for added advantage of adhesion to wide range of plastics. Backbone has a multitude of hydroxyl groups, making this oligomer also ideally suited for adhesion to most metals.
Polyallyl glycidyl ether. Oligomer designed to provide cure for dark or shadow areas of a coating, adhesive or ink. Reduces oxygen inhibition and facilitates a cure response mechanism for areas that are difficult to crosslink with UV energy alone. The addition of metal driers and/or a peroxide co-catalyst can accelerate the rate of dark section cure.
Imide/ester/amide urethane acrylates. Specifically designed oligomer for electronic coating and ink applications where adhesion to Kapton (polyimide) film and excellent dielectric properties are required. This series of oligomers exhibit higher temperature capabilities than usual for urethane acrylate technology.
Polyester acrylates. Low viscosity, low cost linear polyester acrylate oligomers. Primarily used in inks and coatings.
Silicone urethane acrylates. Oligomers combining characteristics of silicones with that of urethance and possessing acrylate functionality for UV/EB curing. These unique unique oligomers exhibit low shrinkage, chemical resistance and higher temperature capability, used for producing films that are compounded for flexible systems as well as hardcoats.
Refractive index specific oligomers. Now formulators of optical materials have the ability to produce coatings at high, low and medium indices. These oligomers can be used in anti-reflective coatings.
